Mr. Rudolf Pardubsky, MD, PhD, CCST (Tr&Orth)
Mr. Pardubsky received his medical school degree at Comenius University graduating with best grades in 2003. Subsequently, after the first year internship he embarqued on the specialist training in Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology according to the modern European standards working in conjuction with leading teaching hospitals in Czechoslovakia, Austria, France, Spain and Switzerland.
Important milestones from this period are his collaboration with AO Foundation in Austria as well as his 6 months fellowship at University Hospital de la Zarzuela in Madrid under the mentorship of Prof. Palacios Carvajal, one of the most respected figures in his field in Spain. During this time he also worked on the research projects allowing him to successfully finish his PhD degree in 2007. After fulfilling the training programme and passing the final examinations he obtained the Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training in Orthopeadic Surgery and Traumatology in 2010 followed by 6 months trauma fellowship in Slovakia.
At that stage Mr. Pardubsky decided to move to United Kingdom to carry out his Hip & Knee Arthroplasty Fellowship at the University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire, where he spent 12 months working with one of the best specialists at international level, notably Mr. U. Prakash and Mr. S. Krikler and P. Foguet. Apart from various master class courses and seminars Mr. Pardubsky also visited Maria Middelares Hospital in Gent (Belgium) where he had the unique opportunity to learn directly from Dr. Joost Lagast. In 2011, Mr. Pardubsky took up the post of Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at UHCW carrying out over 250 hip and knee joint replacements (primary and revision) per year as well as general traumatology. He also actively participated in teaching, audit and research projetcs of the department. The last 6 months of his practice in UK he worked for Solihull Hospital, where he performed approximately 200 joint replacements and other procedures.
In May 2016, Mr. Pardubsky moved to French Riviera, where he has successfully set up his own private practice at Clinique les Lauriers, the top-notch healthcare facility in the heart of Côte d'Azur, half-way between Nice / Cannes and Saint-Tropez, offering his expertise to the patients in English, French or Spanish.
In the summer 2016 Clinique les Lauriers became the official partner of the Athletic Club of Saint-Raphaël and Fréjus (Club Athlétique Raphaëlo-Fréjusien).

Primary total hip arthroplasty including cemented and uncemented techniques, posterior and posterior piriformis-sparing approach, metal/polyethylene, ceramic/X3 polyethylene, ceramic/ceramic bearings, ministems.

Revision hip arthroplasty with cemented, uncemented and trabecular metal techniques.

Primary total knee arthroplasty, medial unicompartmental knee arthroplasty, patello-femoral joint arthroplasty.

Revision knee arthroplasty incuding unconstrained, constrained, rotating hinge and hinge knee designs.

Knee arthroscopy in meniscal pathologies, patella instability and early osteoarthritis
